Top Five Places To Work Remotely in Suffolk

More often than not, the demands of our roles means we are out of the office quite regularly for meetings and those gaps in-between going to meetings; meaning we need to set up camp and work remotely. Below are my top places in Suffolk to work remotely:

Applaud Coffee – St Peters Street

Applaud Coffee is on The Saints in Ipswich alongside other local retailers such as ‘Love One’ and ‘The House In Town’, they serve award winning coffee and everything is made on site in their little kitchen. Wi-Fi is always a problem in Suffolk but it’s never an issue at Applaud so doing work is a breeze. Parking is the next best thing as you can park right outside so meeting clients is quick and convenient.

Suffolk Food Hall – Ipswich

Suffolk Food hall, and in particular, the Cookhouse, based just off the A14 is ideal for meetings. The only bad thing about the ‘Cookhouse’ is day dreaming out of the window at the fantastic scenery; the river Orwell and Orwell Bridge are your foreground.

Paddy & Scotts – Bury St Edmunds

Paddy & Scotts in Bury St Edmunds serves some of the best coffee I’ve ever had and taking clients along is a great excuse to fuel up on more. With a very relaxed feel and great coffee you can’t go wrong with the venue.

Cult Café

Cult Café based on Ipswich’s waterfront is a fantastically versatile venue, you can take colleagues out for drinks in the evening or have breakfast with a client in the morning. With good WI-FI and great parking it’s a great place to have meetings

Aurora Bar & Restaurant

I took two clients to Aurora Bar for cocktails with our MD and we loved every minute of it. We had a cocktail making class as it was the client’s birthday and the staff went above and beyond! Highly recommend it if you’re in need of a “wow” venue to take clients.
